Hello friends,
The world’s been a little much lately, hasn’t it? So I’m leaning into the small things that still feel good — writing a note, sharing a meal, saying thank you just because. November feels like the perfect time to celebrate those quiet moments of gratitude that happen around kitchen tables and in mailboxes.
You might notice something new: Wonderfolds has become Folded Memories. Turns out Hallmark already had a line by that name (because of course they did).
After a small meltdown — the kind involving tears, dramatic declarations of “I’m so stupid,” "It will never work!" and a very patient husband — he’s actually the one who suggested Folded Memories. Which is funny, because the man doesn’t have a creative or sentimental bone in his body.
But he nailed it. The name fits perfectly — softer, more nostalgic, and closer to the heart of what this project has always been about: connection, story, and the joy of something beautifully made by hand.
This month’s Folded Memory is all about gratitude — small joys, quiet thanks, and the beauty of noticing. You can print a few to use at your Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving table — write a note to each guest, or let everyone write something kind to someone else. It’s a simple, heartfelt way to turn dinner into a shared moment of connection.
The Folded Memories Club officially launches in January 2026, and I can’t wait to share all the details soon. Each month will feature a new folded keepsake — a small piece of art, story, and reflection delivered straight to your mailbox.
If you’d like to be the first to know when it opens, you can join the waitlist here.
You can grab this month’s Folded Memory here — and if you’re in the mood to write a few more notes, I’ve tucked some free cards and printable stationery on my website just for you.
The Kindness Circle
This month I wanted to share a few friends whose creativity reminds me that beauty, peace, and joy still exist in the small corners of the world. Each of them pours their heart into what they make — and supporting them helps keep that light going.
Pemilyland – Emily creates bold, playful wallpaper inspired by coastal living, vintage prints, and joyful colour. Her work feels like sunshine for your walls — a reminder not to take life (or design) too seriously.
Add Peace Studio – Amy’s art invites calm and connection — gentle reminders to look for the goodness around you. From letters to stickers, her pieces feel like a deep breath and a warm hug all at once.
Hara Vrachas – My friend from Cyprus, Hara creates beautifully illustrated calendars inspired by farmers markets, gardens, and the art of everyday living. Her work celebrates simplicity and the rhythms of daily life.
Every purchase from a small shop is an act of kindness — a way of saying, “I see you, and what you make matters.”
Thank you for being here, for reading, for choosing handmade, and for believing that small gestures still matter.
I am thankful for you,
Fran
