A little September note from me to you

Hey Friends!

There’s something about September that feels like a gentle reset. January may get all the attention for fresh starts, but I’ve always thought this month has its own kind of magic — cooler mornings, new rhythms, and the quiet reminder that we can begin again anytime.

Wildflower Mornings Notecards

As routines settle back in, I find myself reaching for simple tools that keep me grounded. The Wildflower Meadow Notecards & Journal are one of my favorites this time of year — whether it’s a note of encouragement for a teacher friend, a hello to a pen pal, or a few thoughts tucked into a journal.

It’s amazing how something as small as putting pen to paper can feel like its own little ritual.

Little Rituals

Lately, my mornings start with something tiny but grounding: lighting a candle before I open my laptop. It slows me down just enough to feel present before the day begins.

What about you? What little ritual is helping you ease into September?

Inspiration for You

A journaling prompt to carry into the season:

“Write down 3 things you’re welcoming this month.”

Sometimes the act of naming what we’re ready for can make space for it to grow.

Because September is all about fresh starts and new rhythms, I designed a simple Weekly Meal Planner Page for you. Print it, pin it to your fridge, or slip it into a binder — a little structure to make the week feel calmer (and maybe even a bit more joyful).

Hello friends, The world’s been a little much lately, hasn’t it? So I’m leaning into the small things that still feel good — writing a note, sharing a meal, saying thank you just because. November feels like the perfect time to celebrate those quiet moments of gratitude that happen around kitchen tables and in mailboxes. You might notice something new: Wonderfolds has become Folded Memories. Turns out Hallmark already had a line by that name (because of course they did). After a small...

Hello friends, Fall has always been my favorite time of year. Midwest born and bred, I can’t resist the crunch of leaves underfoot, that soft golden light, and those cool mornings that call for a Pumpkin Spice Latte instead of a second cup of coffee. It’s also my birthday month — which feels like the perfect excuse to celebrate with a few thoughtful treats for you. Before we dive in, a quick note: you might see my emails coming from a new address → hello@francessimonedesign.com. Please add it...

Hey Friends! Last month, we talked about the quiet power of connection. This month, I want to offer you a way to hold that light The new Faith & Light collection is here—and it’s not your typical holiday launch Earlier this year—on one of those rainy spring mornings when the world felt especially heavy—I sat down not to design something trendy, but to create something true. The headlines were loud. Life felt cluttered. Even small joys had been dulled by the noise. And somewhere deep inside, I...
